ACW Team USA VS Spain (POSTPONED)

As of July 26, 2021, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced that in response to the upward surge of COVID cases in Spain, they were raising the travel advisory for Americans going to Spain to "Level Four: Very High" (their highest level).  At the same time, the US State Department issued a "Do Not Travel" advisory recommending that Americans do not travel to Spain or Portugal. In light of these advisories and the uncertainty of travel consequences for our fighters and staff (including quarantine requirements going and returning, and additional costs of unscheduled travel delays), the ACW is postponing the August 28-29, 2021 tournament we have scheduled at Belmonte Castle in Spain.  As much as we would love to meet our Spanish brothers in combat on the field in Belmonte, the health and wellbeing of our fighters is first and foremost.

We plan to continue our conversations with the Spanish fighters and (hopefully) find a new mutually acceptable date to reschedule this tournament.  While we know that this postponement is a disappointment for our team, our fans, and our Spanish brothers-in-arms, we look forward to seeing Team USA and our Spanish hosts fighting again on the fields at Belmonte Castle.
