Saturday 7/8/2023 European Cultural Festival at University Place University Place Mall, 575 E University Parkway, Orem, UT 84097 FREE ADMISSION!
On Saturday, July 8, 2023, the Salt Lake City Crusaders, a Utah Chapter of the Armored Combat Worldwide (ACW), will field real, medieval armored Knights, fighting with steel weapons in a “Mall Brawl” at the EUROPEAN CULTURAL FESTIVAL AT UNIVERSITY PLACE at University Place Mall, 575 E University Parkway, Orem, UT 84097. Admission is FREE!!! Come early, bring the whole family, and enjoy Scottish & Irish Bagpipes, Irish dancing, Spanish Flamenco dancing, Alps (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) Old World & Contemporary Folk Music, and lots of European food! At 7:45 PM, meet and take photos with the Fighting Knights to figure out who you want to root for the combat scheduled at 8:15 PM! Fighting is not choreographed, and fighters use real weapons and wear real armor. Spectators and fans are invited to come see this exciting sport up close. #armoredcombat #ACWknights #ACWWomenFighters
